StarOffice ist eigentlich kostenpflichtige Software (ca. 60 Euro) und mindestens genauso leistungsfähig wie MicrosoftOffice (meine persönliche Meinung). Seit Neuem bietet Google diese Software als Paket zum downloaden KOSTENLOS an. Neben StarOffice bietet Google noch eine ganze Reihe anderer Programme zum kostenlosen downloaden an.
So zum Beispiel:
- Google Earth
- Norton Security Scan
- Google Desktop
- Mozilla Firefox Browser
- Spyware Doctor
- Picasa (Fotobearbeitung)
- Adobe Reader
- Real Player
